As of March 18, 2026, following the latest update from the Zimbabwe Energy Regulatory Authority (ZERA), the current maximum fuel prices are:

Diesel 50: US$2.05 per litre (or 52.19 ZWG)
Petrol (Blend E5): US$2.17 per litre (or 55.13 ZWG)
This is a significant jump from the prices set earlier in the month, which were US1.77 for Diesel and US1.71 for Petrol. The price hike is being driven by global oil supply pressures and the ongoing Middle East conflict.

While these are the "ceiling" (maximum) prices set by the government, individual service stations are allowed to sell for less depending on their costs, but they are not allowed to charge more.
